Service Description

Build confidence. Meet new People. Have fun. Learn acting techniques from an industry professional. Explore plays by queer writers. Play LGBTQ+ characters. Over seven weeks we'll explore improvisation and character work and work on some scenes by LGBTQ+ writers including Paula Vogel, Alexi Kaye Campbell, Jen Silverman, Tony Kushner, Jasmine Lee-Jones, Tennessee Williams & Alison Bechdel, as well as turning the classics on their heads. This term you'll also have a go at creating some dramatic material yourself. No previous drama or acting experience necessary. ALL AGES (18+) welcome. This is a safe, supportive creative space. This is a non-religious event. Allies welcome.
